Those are great Egaeus books (I have all of them except the Rhys Hughes). Someone may get quite a steal on that lot. So out of curiosity, do you buy these new, read them, then turn around and sell them?

I've bought nearly every Egaeus Press book new at its release. Before now, I've only sold Mark Samuels' Written in Darkness, and that was only because the book's secondhand prices far exceeded my opinion of it. But after seeing the fate of Avalon Brantley's collection after her death, reading a stint of terrible horror authors, and growing increasingly tired with maintaining collectible books in pristine condition, I've decided to dump most of my horror collection. These two auctions are pretty much the last of the salable books. With Egeaus Press, I am holding on to Howard's Buried Shadows until I get a chance to read it, and for some strange reason I find myself really attached to the Keynote Editions. In fact, despite no longer officially collecting, I'll probably use some of the auction proceeds to buy the Mackintosh anthology.

I'm top bid, but not expecting to be able to afford the end result. Murder Ballads is the only title that I have, and I do love the writings of Watt.

For what it's worth, I have quite enjoyed Charles Wilkinson's A Twist In The Eye. I actually got Descending Suns Resuscitate directly from Zagava, a month or so ago.

@Hecatombs — What was the fate of Ms Brantley's personal collection? I mean, I know that her family intended to sell it, but I don't recall anything noteworthy about the process (other than the sheer volume of her library).
I would easily have been one of the bidders on your Egaeus bundle if I didn't already own them. The winner will be quite fortunate.

@LordJim — Enjoy Descend Suns Resuscitate. It's a treasure. As is Aornos. I still haven't fortified my emotional state to attempt House of Silence, but I have little doubt that it represents another brilliant entry in an all too short catalogue. I eagerly await Jonas's editorship of the literary material that was entrusted to him after Ms Brantley death.

I bought one book, it arrived fine.
I felt as if I were in an estate sale of a neighbor.
Uncomfortable, yet I treasure the purchase and will regard it as a memento.
