It appears I have my Miguel Riazes (how to pluralise..?) mixed up, but either way, I'd still love to read that initial version of the story, however similar it is.

And thank you for the picture of 'The Blonde: A Sonnet'; I have to say Mr. Ligotti's handwriting is quite wonderful.
