Happy 20th anniversary and a big thank you to both doctors. This place has brought me countless amounts of joy.
Your fall should be like the fall of mountains. But I was before mountains. I was in the beginning, and shall be forever. The first and the last. The world come full circle. I am not the wheel. I am the hand that turns the wheel. I am Time, the Destroyer. I was the wind and the stars before this. Before planets. Before heaven and hell. And when all is done, I will be wind again, to blow this world as dust back into endless space. To me the coming and going of Man is as nothing.

It seems flatly impossible that we've been here twenty years, and yet here we are, and there's 1998 growing ever smaller and more distant in the rearview mirror.

I could say a lot, because TLO has been a significant part of my adult life. But instead I'll just say: Thank you, Jon and Brian. And Tom. And all the rest of you who make up this place.

20 years! That completely boggles my mind! It is comforting to read that a community such as this can stay thriving for such a long time. As I've said elsewhere, although I am an infrequent poster, TLO is very important to me. I greatly appreciate this site and the weird and wicked doors it has opened for me. Congrats TLO, you still look horribly disturbing for your age!
