I've found that my Nook and iPhone are actually worse for my rheumatoid arthritis - the rigid and limited motion of holding them while constantly swiping the screen often causes my fingers and elbows to swell up.
But even then, as much as I prefer print, I'll take an ebook over a shoddy Create Space/Lulu POD if those are my only options. | |||||||||||

After a year of trying to exclusively ebook, I had to give it up. I'll still use the Kindle to download certain items I cannot find in print, or if I'm fairly sure it won't become a permanent part of my library. But I miss physical books too much. I miss their presence in my otherwise empty apartment.
