Re: Create your own short story collection!

* FIve Letters from an Eastern Empire -- Alasdair Gray
* The Blinding Order -- Ismail Kadare
* The Cloud Sculptors of Coral-D -- J.G. Ballard
* The Congress -- Jorge Luis Borges
* The Distance of the Moon -- Italo Calvino
* The Mask -- Stanislaw Lem
* Breaking Through the Drum -- Bohumil Hrabal
* The Communicants -- John Sladek
* The Small Stones of Tu Fu -- Brian Aldiss
* The Last Voyage of the Ghost Ship -- Gabriel Garcia Marquez
* The Woman who had Two Navels -- Nick Joaquin

Some of these stories are rather long, so that would probably make a fairly sizable collection, but it would be nice to add a twelfth because twelve is a fine number. If I think of one I will return to add it in due course...

Re: Create your own short story collection!

Many of these titles I've read before, but there are still quite a few I have not. It'll be fun tracking all of them down and reading the little dollings.
