Off Topic Forum?

what about an off topic/general discussion forum? Just an idea. A place for us all to hang out...shoot the breeze...try and socialize.

We have an "Off Topic" category, which could include an "Off Topic" board if deemed appropriate.

There is also a wonderful chat interface accessible from the main menu bar on the left. It is a Flash based program which has been modified appropriately. It functions very well and all who have tried it out have been very complimentary. Upon first clicking on the Chat option, you will be presented with the login screen and a real time count of members within the chat rooms. You can see if anyone is there before you bother to log in, if you wish. While it has been functional for a couple of months now, it has not been extensively used.

Anywho, who votes for the Off Topic board within the Off Topic category?

Check out the chat engine. I am elated with this feature.

I think the off topic board is a good idea, too!
I have tried the chat, and find it marvellous. However, a chat is a transitory thing and a board is static, that is: if I go visiting there 3 days later I can still read the postings and reply if I'm interested.

There is now an Off Topic forum board created within the Off Topic category. Members are welcome to discuss subjects unrelated to any other sections therein.
