Re: SONGS OF A DEAD DREAMER AND GRIMSCRIBE Audiobook Announcement
Dear loyal Ligotti readers and TLOers,
I wanted to follow up on my previous posts to express how grateful I am for your continued support of the work of Thomas Ligotti. Your enthusiasm and passion for Ligotti's works are the life blood of such projects. In a previous post, I had the pleasure of announcing the release of the audiobook version of Songs of a Dead Dreamer and Grimscribe (Penguin Classics), narrated by me and Linda Jones. As a fan of Ligotti's writing for over three decades, I did my best to channel Ligotti's singular vision into every word I recorded, and I've been thrilled to share the end result with you. If you've already purchased and listened to the audiobook, thanks so much. If you haven't yet had the chance to check it out, I strongly encourage you to do so. I hope you'll agree that listening to these classic stories read aloud adds a new layer of depth and meaning to Ligotti's haunting, brilliant work. If you enjoyed the audiobook and found it to be a compelling experience, I kindly request that you share your thoughts by leaving a review or a simple rating on Audible. Your reviews help other potential readers and listeners discover Ligotti's work and make it more likely that new Ligotti-related projects like this one see the light of day. Finally, please share the word about this audiobook (the first Ligotti audiobook of its kind) to all interested friends and family, virtually or in person. I would be so grateful. Thanks again for your tremendous support, and I look forward to sharing more Ligotti and Ligotti adjacent projects with you in the very near future. I'll be in touch soon! Best, Jon Padgett

Re: SONGS OF A DEAD DREAMER AND GRIMSCRIBE Audiobook Announcement
It's a strange experience to listen to an audiobook you (mostly) narrated yourself--especially when narrating the work of your favorite prose writer of all time! There are some bits I've cringe at but by in large I'm extremely happy with the end result.
So far, my favorites (of the ones I narrated) are "The Christmas Eves of Aunt Elise" and "The Lost Art of Twilight." Both are underrated Ligotti stories and both stories are simply made to be heard imo. And, I humbly submit that I did them justice. Please let me know which stories you especially like as you listen to them. And, again, thanks so much. This wouldn't have happened without all of you. Truly! P.S. Please don't forget to leave your ratings/reviews and ask your interested friends and family to buy it! Thanks again!

Re: SONGS OF A DEAD DREAMER AND GRIMSCRIBE Audiobook Announcement
Is it correct that the only way to buy this audiobook is through audible? I would much rather have an actual physical CD or at least the sound file on my computer. I'm still very excited to listen to it, of course.
