Fox Atomic has acquired the exclusive option to buy the rights to The Nightmare Factory and stories therein, save "The Frolic". This agreement has been struck for 18 months with optional renewals, and gives Fox Atomic a multimedia palette with total creative empowerment and product disgression. In other words, this is a tremendously exciting opportunity for Ligotti to be exposed to the masses, with the downside being relinquishment of artistic control over the nature and quality of the end product.
