Our Art inspired by Thomas Ligotti

I have a couple of my drawings that I think you might find interesting.

Well, I guess you all recognized the man. Laird Barron once said in his LJ:
"And upon being asked, probably in polite company, so, LB, what is your spiritual belief? I will have to answer, Ligotti's giant face eating the cosmos." So here he is, the Devourer of worlds.

Based on Thomas & Current 93's collaboration "This Degenerate Little Town".
I was listening to it for the very first time, when I got an irresistible impetus to paint it. I grabbed the brushes, filled a cup with water (it still had some coffee inside) and took the first sheet of paper my hands found.
Surprisingly, I love the result. Maybe, because no0-one else will understand it.

These two pictures are the only ones that have direct connection with Thom or his work. But some other drawings seem to be influenced by him.

It's an illustration to "The Court of the Dragon" by R. W. Chambers. But Ligotti's presence in my mind if felt, isn't it?

It reminds me of "My Work Is Not Yet Done". It's a picture of Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovitch. Being a resident of this wretched country, I masked the face a bit not to get kicked in the ass.

My illustration to "Haunter of the Dark" by H. P. Lovecraft.
