TLO Hacked
THOMAS LIGOTTI ONLINE was hacked during the early morning hours of July 23rd. Once the breach was identified, the system was intentionally disabled while the file system was cleaned and the database was restored. There may be issues relative to the setup and data which still need to be addressed. Please bring to my attention any errors or anomalies encountered.
The source of the intrusion is not yet known, but the security team of the Host Service Provider is investigating the matter. It is possible that TLO was not a target for any specific reason, and instead within a range of sites attacked. In any event, I am not placing this notice on the front page as a measure to diminish any sense of wicked glee that someone might gain in seeing the site taken down. | |||||||||||
